MBC Student Ministry — Whether we are on weekend retreat, in a small group Bible study, or a mission project, there is an opportunity for YOUth to get involved! Our student ministry exist to make a difference, in the lives of teenagers — at all cost, for the sake of the gospel!
Students today are tempted more than any generation in history. With so many forms of available media and enormous peer pressure, today’s young people are in desperate need of a refuge. Our student ministry is a place were teens can find a fresh message of hope, presented in a way that is relateable and relevant. We have several youth only programs and special events. Come to any of the below meeting times or check us out on Facebook.
LIFE
Wednesday, 6:30-7:30 p.m., meets in the Chapel across the street.
LIFE is designed to meet the specific needs of middle and high schoolers. We play games, have giveaways, and study God’s Word. We have open gym after LIFE. Doors open at 6:15 p.m.
Small Groups
Sunday, 5-7 p.m., meet in area homes.
These are small groups designed to help our students dig deeper into the Bible. They help new Christians develop the basic skills they need to mature as Christians and push mature Christians to continue to grow in their faith. Small groups are used to build Christian community among our teens.
Sunday School
Sunday, 9:15 a.m.-10:15 p.m., Second floor of the 600 building.
We cover a wide variety of topics and use many teaching techniques, including games, field trips, and discussion to help students understand the Bible. Plus we always have breakfast!
Special Events and Activities
Throughout the year, we have many trips, retreats, fellowships, and other special events. These include game nights, lock-ins, camps, service projects, trips, and much more.
