Beverly Purter

Hello, My name is Beverly Purter! I started out at McElwain as a three-year-old teacher and then I was promoted as the Assistant Director. I am currently serving as the Director of McElwain Child Development Center.

We hope and pray that McElwain’s Child Development Center meets the needs of each child and parent, through consistent service and love.

We would consider it a great privilege to count you among the McElwain CDC Family!

The Child Development Center is a Ministry of McElwain Baptist Church. We always want to honor Christ in all that we do.

Our mission statement is: “To teach preschool children about God and to provide a nurturing environment in which they may experience God’s love.”

Child Development Center

Child Care for Ages 6 weeks up to Pre-K

Here at McElwain Child Development Center, we strive to provide a loving and nurturing environment for your child. We seek to provide ways to ensure your little one feels loved.

Each child is a special individual, uniquely gifted by God. We seek to engage each child in an activity that not only stimulates learning, but is fun, too!

Children here at McElwain, play with a purpose. Whether it’s pretending to call home on a toy telephone or counting bears we find fun ways to incorporate math as well as other skills.

Come see for yourself. When learning is fun, children love to learn!

Sonshine Station

This is a fun sensory room that your little one gets to discover each morning with their classroom teachers!

We sing, dance, paint and play with our imagination in the Sonshine Station. Each little one develops at a different pace. We believe it is best to move infants according to their developmental stages.

We strive to provide an environment in which they can achieve new goals as they grow.
